The task is recommended to be developed in groups of three learners.

Context: Today, people are falling into veneration of  the liquid modernity representations such as consumerism, tech, money, media and more. The main goal of this task is that learners recognize the main deities of some of the most famous mythologies of the world as they use the modern problems and needs to create new characterizations of deities.

As history had been written before and as is constantly being written, is now the opportunity for learners to write down the new history of the current world.  In this WebQuest, learners will engage in a cooperative task of designing and bringing to life  new  representations of gods  based on the social phenomenons of the present.

Learners will use information of the oldest gods registered in history to create possible contrasts between them and the current world phenomenons. Thus, they will use this phenomenons to create conceptions of potential modernized gods. (e.g., the god of Tech). For this, they will create a god from scratch where they will include an origin and a background history, they will also design a visual concept  of the god to finally  share their work with other learners.

Roles: The three learners are a group of historians which are part of a Historiography registration of the modernity and new social representations. (More information in the process)
